Sebastian Vettel's racing biography

Sebastian Vettel was born in 3 July 1987, Heppenheim, West Germany. He is a formula one champion, and holder of the record of youngest F1 world champion ever since he took his first championship in 2010 with RBR. Vettel started racing in Karts, in the early age of 8, at 1995, winning various tiltes such as the Junior Monaco Kart Cup. He won the 2004 German Formula BMW Championship with 18 victories from 20 races. In 2005 he drove for ASL Mucke Motorsport in the Formula Three Euroseries. He was placed fifth in the final standings with 64 points, winning the year's top rookie honours. He did not win any races, but this was largely due to the championship's domination by Lewis Hamilton. Despite this, he tested the Williams FW27 Formula One car on 27 September as a reward for this Formula BMW success. He then went on to test for the BMW Sauber team. Vettel's F1 career started after that, as he was signed by the team as third driver, after the 2006 Turkish GP.



Jenson Button's racing biography

Jenson Alexander Lyons Button was born in 19 January 1980 in Frome, Somerset, England. He was the 2009 F1 world champion. Button started his career with the Williams team in 2000, racing his first race in Australia. It was obvious from the start that he had talent, but racing for teams with uncompetitive cars, resulted in taking him several years to win his first Grand Prix, in 2006 in Hungary, with Honda.



Button competed with several different teams, during his F1 career. After his success in British Formula Ford and British Formula Three, Williams aproched Button and signed him for his first F1 season in 2000, alongside teamate Ralf Schumacher. He became Breatin's youngest ever F1 driver (by that time). Former F1 driver Gerhard Berger described Button as a "phenomenon", before his first race in Australia, as others also also praised him.




Lewis Hamilton's racing biography

Lewis Carl Davidson Hamilton was born on January 7 1985, in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. He is a British F1 driver, and was the F1 World Champion in 2008, breaking Fernando Alonso's record, as he was the youngest champion by that year. Later his record was broken again. In December 1995, at the age of ten, he approached McLaren team principal Ron Dennis at the Autosport Awards ceremony and told him, "I want to race for you one day. I want to race for McLaren." Less than three years later McLaren and Mercedes-Benz signed him to their Young Driver Support Programme. And so his career started. After winning the British Formula Renault, Formula Three Euroseries, and GP2 championships, he drove for McLaren in 2007, making his Formula One debut 12 years after his initial encounter with Ron Dennis.

Lewis Hamilton started his F1 career alongsite teamate and double world champion Fernando Alonso. On his first F1 race in Australia he qualified 4th and finish the race in 3rd place, becoming the 13th driver to finish on the podium in his first F1 career race. Lewis Hamilton borke Bruce McLare's, of youngest driver ever to lead in the drivers championship, record very soon. Hamilton finished in second place in the 2007 Spanish GP behind Felipe Massa and took the lead in the drivers championship. Lewis conitnued a streak of podiums, turning all eyes on him. He took his first pole and win in the 2007 Canadian GP in Montreal. After a week he qualified first again in the United States GP and won the race again, becoming the first rookie after Jacques Villeneuve, ever to win more than one race in his first F1 career season.





Kimi Raikkonen's racing biography


Kimi Matias Raikkonen was born in October 17, 1979, in Espoo Finland, and is a world champion after 2007, when he took the title driving for Ferrari. During his first season in McLaren in 2002 he was nicknamed “Iceman,” and he was recognized as a title contender, as he lost the championship in 2003 to Michael Schumacher and in 2005 to Fernando Alonso, for a few points. Raikkonen was racing in karting since he was racing. His first race out of his country was at the age of 15 in Monaco, where his steering wheel broke. In his second race in Monaco he was remembered, as he was thrown out of the track after a collision in the first round, but he manage to get back in the track and in the end he finished in third place. In 1999 was second in the European Formula Super A championship. In 2000 he won seven out of ten events in Formula Renault UK Championship. After competing in the Formula Renault later that year, he won 13 of the 23 events (a percentage of 56%).



Fernando Alonso's racing biography


Fernando Alonso Diaz was born in 29 of July, 1981. He is Spanish Formula One driver and two time world champion in 2005 and 2006. When he won his first championship in 2005, at the age of 24 and 58 days he became the youngest Formula One champion (since then) breaking Emerson Fittipaldi's record. In 2006 he became the youngest double champion. In 2007 he also became the second Formula One driver after Michael Schumacher to score more than 100 points in three consecutive seasons. His nickname is El Nano.
