John Michael Hawthorn was born in April 10, 1929 ,in Mexborough, Yorkshire, England. Hawthorn made his formula 1 bebut at the 1952 Belgian Grand prix,finishing 4th. A very impressive start,considering that since now it's the best performance ever achived by a British World champion in his debut.
Alberto Ascari's Racing Biography

After the world war 2 he begun racing with a Maserati. Formula One regulations were introduced by the FIA in 1946, with the aim of eventually replacing the pre-war Grand Prix structure. The next four years Ascari was at the top of his game, winning numerous events around Europe.He won the first grand prix ni Sanremo,Italy in 1948. His biggest success came when he joined Ferreri.Ferrari made her debut in Mnte Carlo with Ascari winning the 2nd place there and another 2nd place afterwards in Monza. However he was only 5th in the championship that year.He won his first world champion title in 1952,while runner up was Juan Manuel Fangio.

Jack Brabham was born in in the Sydney suburb of Hurstville,Australia,in 2 April 1926. In 1955, he made his Grand Prix debut at the British Grand Prix driving his own Maserati 250F. He soon joined cooper car company team, which was the first to runcars with the engine at the rear. In 1959 he won his first world champion with the Cooper team, as he did in 1960 too.
