Who is going to race for Force India?

Four drivers out of seven are now left to fight for the Force India seat alongside Adrian Sutil, after Ralf Schumacher, Giedo van der Garde and Franck Montagny decided they don’t want to race for the team next season.

Ralf Schumacher tested for the team since he has been without a driving seat, after Toyota dropped him at the end of the 2007 season. But after a crash in his second test and a split with his manager Hans Mahr, he is searching for a Mercedes drive in the DTM next season.

Giedo van der Garde decided to race in the Renault World Series next season, so that left him out of the contention too. As for Franck Montagny, his decision was to race in Le mans this year.

After all these only four drivers are left to fight for the seat. Giancarlo Fisichella is the favourite, Kristian Klien, Vitantonio Liuzzi and Roldan Rodriguez. Sutil’s teammate will be announced in January, most possible on the 11th of the month.
