Lewis Hamilton is on his way to become the richest British sportsman, after agree ding to become an ambassador for sporting goods, for brand Reebok. The Brit has already a 5-year contract with McLaren, worth £75 million, and according to sources he is going to sign a contract with Reebok for £10 million for three seasons. This makes him the most well paid sportsman in Britain, as the football star, David Beckham, is rumored to earn £16 million a year.

McLaren in known for not allowing their drivers to sign personal image rights deals, but in this occasion they gave young Lewis their blessing. "We can confirm that Lewis Hamilton's father and manager Anthony has been in discussions with Reebok with regard to a personal sponsorship for Lewis," a McLaren spokesperson said. It is believed that the young Brit will receive earnings of more than £500 million, through his next ten years, which will exceed Michael Schumacher's career earnings.
