Second in a row for Webber in Monaco

It was another weekend without rain and Red Bull pilots showed that the team is the quickest on track, one more time. However, the Monaco race this year did not come without any surprises and suspense.

Mark Webber started from the pole and remained there for the whole race, despite the safety car entered the track four times. Sebastian Vettel followed him comparatively easy, as both of them have been much faster than the competition.

The real race took place many places down the grid as Alonso started making his way up from last place. The Spaniard started attacking immediately after the start, and he was passing one driver after another, up to the 6th place. this was the last place to be decided after the race had started. All other positions ahead remained unchanged as they were at the first turn.

Robert Kubica had yet another great race, and kept Felipe Massa and Lewis Hamilton behind him, to take another podium finish at 3rd place.

Webber wins in Spain 2010

Mark Webber was the winner of the 2010 Spanish GP. He started from pole and stayed in first place throughout the entire race, without having anyone challenging him.

The rain was absent during the race, for the first time in a while this season. RBR was the fastest team and everyone new that only a mechanical failure or a mistake could make them loose. The rain that did not show up this weekend took all excitement away, and showed that in stable conditions, the differences between teams are great.

There was almost no overtaking during the race, at least within the points awarding zone. But the Spanish Grand Prix had some surprises.

Webber grabs the Pole in Barcelona - Spanish GP Qualification

The first European stop for F1 this year took place in Barcelona, Spain. After all this rain we have witnessed during the past races, it was time for a dry qualification session.

Red Bull racing has the quickest car on a dry track, at this time, and its drivers confirmed this by taking the first two places on the grid.

The battle between the two RBR drivers was great, and Webber only managed to grab the pole in his final lap with a time of 1m19.995s, being the only driver running below 1m20s. Sebastian Vettel followed him 0.106s behind. Lewis Hamilton was third more than 0.7s further, confirming that McLaren is moving ahead of the rest but still needs work in order to challenge the RBR team in absolute speed terms.

Button won in China- McLaren 1-2

The McLarens dominated the Chinese Grand Prix, with Jenson Button winning the race an Lewis Hamilton finishing in the 2nd place just 1.5 seconds behind Button. Nico Rosberg completed the podium as he gave a magnificent performance and finished in 3rd place. The whole race was incredible with drivers fighting for places all the time, and race leaders changing one after the other.

Vettel in the pole once again

Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel won the pole once again, in the Chinese Qualifying session. This is his 3rd pole this season out of four races, plus Red Bull team has four out of four poles this season. Teammate Mark Webber will start in 2nd place in the Chinese Grand prix, as he finished 2.5 tenths behind Sebastian Vettel. Ferrari's Fernando Alonso took the 3rd place an with Nico Rosberg they fill the second row.

Vettel victorious in Malaysia 2010

It seemed to be a promising race from the beginning. After the showing up of the rain during the qualification yesterday, which mixed up the starting lineup, we expected to see a good race and we did. With both Ferrari and McLaren starting from the back end of the grid, while Red bull drivers started from positions 1 and 3, we could guess that we would see many overtakings during the race.

Webber did not start very good and as a result Sebastian Vettel took the chance to pass him in the first corner. Both Red Bulls had been very fast, and only another unlucky incident could ruin their race. They got on top and stayed there till the end of the race.
