Button unstoppable - Turkish 2009 race results

The 2009 world F1 championship seems to be at the risk of ending prematurely. Not because something went wrong, but because Button seems to be unstoppable with no opposing force being able to challenge him.

After qualifying second yesterday, he managed to pass S. Vettel who was in pole, after the German made a mistake and went off track for a moment. After that, the Briton never lost the first place. Things became even more easier for him after Red Bull racing team decided to have Vettel make a three pit stop race.

Vettel breaks Button's streak in Istanbul

Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel, took the poll position in Istanbul, with 1:28.316 seconds, leaving Jenson Button one tenth of a second behind, in the second place. Vettel was realy fast in all quantifying rounds, and finally won te pole position breaking Button's streak. Jenson Button did not take the pole again, but he was not far behind Vettel as he took the second place, with his teammate Rubens Barrichello taking the third place.

Jenson Button won another race and 5 out of 6 that took place until know during the season.

Winning five out of six opening races of a season have happened twice in the past by nnigel Mansel and Michael Schumacher.

Jenso Button has widen his point gap between him and the rest of his rivals and it seems very hard for anyone to challenge him with good chances this season. Although he claims that it is too early to talk about the championship it is understood that he must be very unlucky during the rest of the season to loose the title.

Rubens Barichello took another second place after his good start gave him the chance to pass Kimi Raikkonen during the first corner.

Button in pole once again in Moncaco

Jenson Button won the pole once again, in Monaco while his teammate Rubens Barrichello got the 3rd place. Surprisingly the Ferrari's did well in Saturday's qualifying session. Kimi Raikkonen got the 2nd place just 0.2 tenths of a second behind Jenson Button. Teammate Felipe Massa finished in 5th place.

Button wins again,Brawn 1-2 finish in Barcelona

Brawn GP dominated Sunday's race in Barcelona, with Jenson Button winning his 4th Grand Prix in five races, and Rubbens Barrichello taking the second place. It could have been the other way around, as Barrichello was 1st during more than half of the race, but a 3-stop strategy got him to the second place, in favor of his teammate who had a 2-stop strategy. Mark Webber with RedBull completed the podium.

Jenson Button continues in Barcelona

Jenson Button will start Sunday's race from the pole once again, in Barcelona. Button seems unstoppable at the moment as Brawn also does. Rubens Barrichello with the other Brawn got the 3rd palce in Saturday's qualifying. Sebastian Vettel finished between the two Brawns, in 2nd place about 1,5 tenths of a second behind Jenson Button.

Button wins again in Bahrain as Toyota managed to lose - F1 News

Despite the fact that Toyota and Red Bull racing had proven their speed during the past day, Jenson Button managed to win again in Bahrain this Sunday.

Jarno Trulli lost his first place just as the race started as his teammate, Timo Glock overtook him on turn 1. The battles have been many and consistent as Lewis took P2 during the second lap. He lost his place soon after that, as he ran wide on lap 3. Further behind, Vettel, Raikkonen, Barichello and Alonso had their moments overtaking eachother.
