Hamilton in Pole Position - Belgium GP Qualification

Lewis Hamilton managed to take one more pole position this season. His lap time of 1:43:338 has given him the opportunity to start tomorrow's race from the first place, ahead of the drivers' standings runner up, Brazilian, Felipe Massa.

Massa Wins in Valencia - Results Pending

Massa won the european race that took place within the city of Valencia, Spain. He had the pole position from yesterday, and he was the fastest man on track during the whole race. He was not really threatened by anyone since Hamilton was behind the whole time, with a controllable gap between them.

The big star of the race, Fernando Alonso disappointed his fans on the very first laps. However the fault was not his, as Nakajima crashed on him from the back and destroyed his rear wing, forcing him to retire.

The Brazilian had a great race. He built a gap of around 8sec from the beginning and had managed to keep it until the end. Lewis Hamilton was placed second without having to try hard and Robert Kubica was third. Behind them some interesting incidents happened.

Massa took the first pole in Valencia streets

Ferrari's Felipe Massa took the pole position in the first qualifying, at the new Valencia circuit. Massa was fast from the beginning of the session, as he made the fastest lap in Q1, and manage to take the pole position from Lewis Hamilton in the end with a lap of 1:38.989 seconds. Robert Kubica was third, impressing one more time, as his teammate Nick Heidfeld was 8th, one second behind.

Kovalainen wins his first race in Hungary

The Hungarian grand prix kept lots of surprises once more. Heikki Kovalainen won the first grand prix of his career as Felipe Massa, who was first, retired three laps before the end of the race, after his engine failed. A big surprise came from Toyota team and Timo Glock who got on the podium for first time as he finished 2nd ahead of Kimi Raikkonen who came 3rd.

Hamilton takes another easy pole in Hungary - F1News

Lewis Hamilton showed one more time that McLaren team has the fastest car. He set the fastest lap on Q3 at 1:20.899sec, followed by his teammate Heikki Kovalainen 0.241sec behind.

The first surprise of the qualification session happened when Nick Heidfeld was left out of the top 15 for Q2. He was placed 16th as some understeering problems kept him far from being able to challenge a better position. His teammate, Robert Kubica did better once more and he was placed 4th.

Ferrari had another bad day, with Massa being quicker than Raikonen once more. The Brazilian was 3rd while the Finn has been placed 6th, right behind Timo Glock with Toyota, who seems to be on great shape after his accident in Germany two weeks ago. The team is also going faster, showing that they have solved many of the problems they used to have in the past.

Alonso was placed 7th followed by Mark Webber in 8th place. The last two positions on the top ten have been taken by Jarno Truli and N. Piquet Jr.

Lewis continues in Germany

Lewis Hamilton won the German grand prix, in the Hockenheim circuit, after giving a very good race. Formula one is keeping a surprise for the funs, in every race this season. The surprise this Sunday was that young Brazilian Nelson Piquet finished in second place, and took his first podium in formula one. He was even leading the race until Hamilton overtook him a few laps before the end. Felipe Massa finished in third place.

Hamilton takes his first win in his country

A very good race with many incidents took place in Silverstone today. Lewis Hamilton was the winner of this race as he took his first victory in his country, finishing more than a minute ahead from second Nick Heidfeld. Heidfeld made a surprise by taking the second place but Rubens Barichello left everybody speechless by taking the third place and his first podium with Honda.
