The 2009 world F1 championship seems to be at the risk of ending prematurely. Not because something went wrong, but because Button seems to be unstoppable with no opposing force being able to challenge him.
After qualifying second yesterday, he managed to pass S. Vettel who was in pole, after the German made a mistake and went off track for a moment. After that, the Briton never lost the first place. Things became even more easier for him after Red Bull racing team decided to have Vettel make a three pit stop race.
Instead of improving Vettel's race they gave the opportunity to M. Webber to pass his teammate for the second place.
On the other hand R. Barichello had a terrible start caused by some mechanical stall (as it seems). The result was that the Brazilian fell way back to the last places. He tried to push as hard as possible but after two contacts he had with other cars he lost all chances of saving his race. He retired a few laps before the end of the race.
Jarno Trulli and Nico Rosberg followed the top three and had a good race. Especially Nico Rosberg who managed to finish fifth after having started just ninth. Felipe Massa finished in sixth place and Robert Kubica managed to get his first championship point for this season with a 7th place finishing. Timo Glock completed the points awarding positions for Toyota.
