Lewis Hamilton won his 13th pole today, during the final qualification session in Shanghai. He will clearly have the chances on his side tomorrow, in order to become the youngest F1 world champion.

On the other hand, we have last year's example. Is he going to repeat his epic loss, during the race he got his 13th pole?. This we will see as the young Briton will be followed by the two Ferrari's, with Kimi Raikkonen 2nd and Felipe Massa 3rd. It is going to be a test for his psychology, and focus ability, as he has pretty good chances of winning it all or lose it at the same time.

Unfortunatelly for Hamilton, his teammate Heikki Kovalainen managed to qualify only fifth, with Fernando Alonso getting a great 4th place. Renault seems to be maximizing its efforts to both climb up the championship points table and convince Alonso to stay for the next season.

Further behind, Mark Webber qualified sixth, but he is going to start the race from 16th place as he had to change his engine due to an engine failure he had. The sixth place on the grid was inherited by Nick Heidfeld, who outpaced his teammate, Robert Kubica, who only got 12th. The driver from Poland seems to be having some problems with his car from time to time, and this time he even lost his chance to get in Q3.
