Hamilton in Pole Position - Belgium GP Qualification

Lewis Hamilton managed to take one more pole position this season. His lap time of 1:43:338 has given him the opportunity to start tomorrow's race from the first place, ahead of the drivers' standings runner up, Brazilian, Felipe Massa.

Hamilton said that it has been a great day for him, as his team made no mistakes, and he had the opportunity to complete three perfect laps, during the qualification session.

He also admitted that the "optional" tyres, the softer ones, had a much better performance, surprisingly enough. However, he stayed on hard tyres in Q2. This fact gives his (and his team's) achievement more credit as most of the other drivers had chosen the softer compound.

Hamilton is looking forward to turning his pole into victory tomorrow, and gain a good advantage over his rivals about the 2008 season, Formula 1 title.

What will happen remains to be seen, as the Belgian grand prix, had created great surprises in the past and is, with no doubt, an unpredictable race.
