Jenson Button will start Sunday's race from the pole once again, in Barcelona. Button seems unstoppable at the moment as Brawn also does. Rubens Barrichello with the other Brawn got the 3rd palce in Saturday's qualifying. Sebastian Vettel finished between the two Brawns, in 2nd place about 1,5 tenths of a second behind Jenson Button.

Ferrari's Felipe Massa finished in 4th place, almost half a second behind Jenson Button, and with Kimi Raikkonen in 16th place the Ferraris still do not seem like they can keep up with the Brawns. Mark Webber was in 5th place, while the Toyotas filled the 6th and 7th palce, with Timo Glock in 6th and Jarno Trulli 7th place. Fernando Alonso in the 8th place, Nico Rosberg in 9th and Robert Kubica in 10th filled in the places in Q3. The McLaren's where disappointing with Leiws Hamilton in 14th place and Heikki Kovalainen in 18th.
