Lewis Hamilton won the German grand prix, in the Hockenheim circuit, after giving a very good race. Formula one is keeping a surprise for the funs, in every race this season. The surprise this Sunday was that young Brazilian Nelson Piquet finished in second place, and took his first podium in formula one. He was even leading the race until Hamilton overtook him a few laps before the end. Felipe Massa finished in third place.

Nick Heidfeld finished in 4th place, as his teammate Robert Kubica was in 7th. Heikki Kovalainen finished 5th as Kimi Raikkonen was disappointing taking only the 6th place. Sebastian Vettel took the last point finishing in 8th place. Timo Glock had a very bad accident which totally crashed his Toyota and caused the safety car to come out. Fortunately Glock came out of his car fine. Jarno Trulli was doing very good during the first half of the race, but unfortunately for him he finished in 9th place in the end.
