Massa took the pole position in Singapore

Ferrari's Felipe Massa was the fastest, in the qualifying in Singapore. He took the pole position with a 1:44.801 seconds, about 8 tenths ahead of his teammate Kimi Raikkonen who was 3rd with 1:45.617 seconds. Lewis Hamilton was 2nd, more than half a second behind Felipe Massa, with 1:45.465.

Robert Kubica was 4th, ahead of his teammate Nick Heidfeld, who came 6th, and Heikki Kovalainen's McLaren who came 5th. Kubica is keeping his place close to his main rivals, Lewis Hamilton and Felipe Massa, in his fight for the championship, as he is 14 points behind of championship leader Lewis Hamilton, just 4 grand prix before the the end. Sebastian Vettel who made a very big surprise winning in Monza, came 7th, but unfortunately for the team, his teammate Sebastian Bourdais could no even qualify for Q2 and he took the 17th place, ahead of Rubens Barichello, Andrian Sutil and Giancarlo Fisichella. Timo Glock, Nico Rosberg and Kazuki Nakajima completed the first 10 places, as they finish 8th, 9th and 10th respectively.
