Sebastian Vettel dominated the qualifying session today in Budapest, winning the pole position with 1:18.773 seconds, finishing 4 tenths of a second ahead of his teamate Mark Webber who took the 2nd place. The RedBulls were unstopable and manage to start from the first row without serious difficulty, as Fernando Alonso who came in 3rd place behind the RedBulls was 8 tenths of a second behind Mark Webber. The strategy each team will follow tommorow in the race though, ramains unknown.
The Ferraris will start from the second row tommorow with Fernando Alonso in 3rd place and Felipe Massa in 4th with 1:20.331 seconds, 4 tenths behind Alonso. Lewis Hamilton was 5th. On the contrary his teamate Jenson Button did not make it to the Q3, and will start from the 11th place tommorow. He will have to fight to get a place that will help him keep the 2nd place in the standings. Nico Rosberg finished in 6th place with the Renaults behind him with Vitaly Petrov in 7th place and Robert Kubica in 8th place. Sauber's Pedro de la Rosa came 9th with Williams' Nico Hulkenberg in 10th place.
