Raikkonen returns after a two-year break

Kimi Raikkonen's return in F1, was confirmed on Tuesday, as team Lotus Renault signed him for 2012 season. The 32 year old Finn, World Champion of 2007, is delighted to return in F1, after spending two seasons competing in the World Rally Championship. "The main reason was that I never really lost the passion for racing in Formula 1, just maybe for all the other things around it. But when I did some NASCAR races this year I noticed that I was increasingly missing the racing side, to race against each other, because in rallying you really race against the clock," he said.

We have seen Vettel driving on the same set of tyres for more than 55 laps and, although he had been 2sec/lap slower than his rivals, managing to defend his place.

Robert Kubica out of the hospital

Robert Kubica has been released from the Santa Corona Hospital, after spending more than two months there. The Pole had a terrible rally accident which caused him a serious damage to his right arm, taking four surgeries for the doctors to try and repair it. Kubica however recovered very quickly and was released from the hospital earlier than everyone expected. But whether he will return to Formula One or not is still unknown.

Bahrain GP may be back on schedule

However it was cancelled after a protest burst out in February 14 and several protestors were killed. FIA has given a deadline, until May 1, to the Bahrain GP organisers to decide if they can set a new date for the Grand Prix this season.
